Decorative concrete, when done by an expert, can add a beautiful component to the interior or exterior of your home. Have you been thinking about having a new tile floor put down? Or what about a brick overlay for your outdoor patio? If so, then we 'd like you to take a minute to think about having us put down decorative concrete for you in its place. Ornamental concrete can include a great deal of character to a space or patio, and it can do so while retaining the strength and durability of standard concrete. Before you decide to have a new floor put in, talk with us at Suric Concrete so we can discuss your choices and show you how ornamental concrete can meet your requirements.
One of the most popular types of ornamental concrete that we work with is stamped concrete. What is stamped concrete? Stamped concrete is concrete that is inscribed by big stamping mats and molds while it's still wet. This leaves an imprint in the wet concrete that will stay in it once it dries. We can produce just about any type of pattern that you want. If you want something original, we'll design it for you. If you want concrete that looks like stone, brick, or wood, we can do that as well.
Polished concrete includes more than just buffing the surface of concrete. When we polish concrete, we utilize a special overlay over the top of it that bonds with the concrete, this overlay is called a densifier. The densifier we apply fills in all the little cracks, holes, and chips in the concrete leaving the surface level. After the densifier has dried, we go over it with a mill to smooth and polish it. We use different colored densifiers along with a clear alternative, so you can choose something that goes with the existing design in your house.
If you desire a brand-new surface for your concrete flooring and wish to have a stamped design put in, then concrete overlays could be an ideal choice for you. Stamped concrete looks beautiful when done well, however if you have existing concrete it can be an issue. Paying somebody to rip out and replace your concrete floors can be quite costly, not to mention inefficient. Why would you want to tear out concrete floorings that are structurally sound just to include designs to them? This makes little sense, specifically when you recognize that concrete tends to get stronger with age. Concrete overlays can offer you the advantage of a new finish with a stamped style, without having to eliminate your current concrete floor.
A much better question would be, where wouldn't you wish to use decorative concrete? Concrete is such a versatile material that can be used almost anywhere. Why have a plain and dull looking driveway when you can add something different to it by having it textured. What about your garage? Have you ever thought about having it polished? Bathroom and kitchens are perfect spaces in your home for ornamental concrete as well. Concrete is sanitary, durable, and extremely simple to clean up.
No matter what kind of decorative concrete you desire, or where you desire it, we 'd more than happy to help. After more than 10 years in service, we are proud to say that we've assisted a great deal of house owners improve their houses with ornamental concrete. We've done small tasks, big tasks, and almost everything in between. Whether you want something easy like having your garage polished, or you want us to pour brand-new floorings and stamp them, we've got you covered.
